John Rietveldt joined AviationGlass & Technology in March 2014. He is a partner and operational executive at Ramphastos Participaties Coöp. U.A. In this capacity, he holds Chief Executive Officer positions for both AviationGlass & Technology and I4F (Innovations4Flooring). Mr. Rietveldt previously held senior executive and board positions as CEO of Ideal Standard International, President at Tarkett as well as Vice President and Officer at Whirlpool Europe. During his career, he also held sales and marketing management positions at household appliance companies, Electrolux and Moulinex. John has a proven track record in turning businesses around and is a well-rounded, versatile leader who can create revenue growth, operational excellence, positive customer relationships, brand strength and teamwork.
Chief Financial Officer
Ronald Meersschaert joined AviationGlass & Technology B.V. in March 2012. He started his career as CPA at Deloitte, an international public accounting firm. He subsequently held senior finance positions with international companies for over 15 years, including Watts Industries Europe (room heating & cooling, water quality & distribution), MoTip Dupli Group (professional car lacquers and technical products) and Doorwin (supplier of exterior doors and window frames to construction industry). As of January 1, 2006, Mr. Meersschaert is a partner of Ramphastos Participaties Coöp. U.A., a Dutch private equity investor. Ramphastos is the majority shareholder of AviationGlass & Technology B.V..
Head of Design & Engineering
Rinus Bos is a Mechanical Engineer who has over 15 years of experience in flat glass processing, especially in the range of glass that is subjected to advanced heat treatment for technical purposes.
His expertise includes the development of new ideas and possibilities. He has a way of thinking ‘out-of the-box’ and he is an absolute expert at finding solutions. His outstanding skills and expertise regarding progressive 3D engineering enable him to present his ideas visually. In this way the processes are well-engineered in each and every detail before the manufacturing process starts. The team is provided with detailed information.
Chief Operating Officer
Jacob (Jaap) Wiersema joined AviationGlass & Technology in March 2012 and holds the position of COO. He began his career as a certified public accountant (CPA) at KPMG and subsequently held different financial and general management positions, primarily in the manufacturing of glass, ceramics and concrete. Jaap has specialized in the manufacturing of glass since 1995 and led the research that contributed to the technology enabling a change in the molecular structure of glass – today known as AeroGlass.
