AviationGlass & Technology, supplying certified glass products to the global aviation industry since 2013.
Its state-of-the-art production facility in Voorthuizen, the Netherlands, produces superior glass products of the highest quality for aircraft cabin interiors. The company’s ultra-thin, lightweight AeroGlass portfolio creates the ultimate on-board experience by providing superior optical quality via crystal-clear (99.9% transparent) panels and mirrors. AeroGlass is up to 50% thinner and 25% lighter than traditional polycarbonate products, yet highly robust as well as scratch and UV-resistant.
AviationGlass & Technology recently expanded and automated further its state-of-the art production facility. The expansion includes a new fully integrated glass coating installation as well as an extension of the factory building. The most significant addition to the facility was the incorporation of a fully automated mirror production line into its existing manufacturing process. This highly sophisticated and technologically advanced machinery – supplied by market leader, Leybold Bühler – combined with the expertise and knowledge of the AGT’s highly skilled engineers, have enabled the company to double its production capacity per day.
Research and development continues to be a critical area of focus for the company especially in the area of innovation and the integration of high tech features into its product portfolio. The recent upgrade has already increased its technical capabilities and enabled the creation of new types of mirrors.
AviationGlass & Technology has a part 21G Production Organization Approval (POA) Certificate from the EASA, certifying that its production facility has the required quality system in place permitting it to supply products globally to the aviation industry. AviationGlass is AS9100 certified.
