Chief Executive Officer
Mr. John Rietveldt joined AviationGlass & Technology B.V. in March 2014. He is a partner at Ramphastos Participaties Coöp. U.A. for which he holds the Chief Executive Officer positions for both AviationGlass & Technology B.V. and Doorwin. He is Head of Residential Division and Member of Management Board at Tarkett Holding GmbH. Prior to this, he served as Vice President of Bath and Kitchen business Europe and as General Manager of Bath and Kitchen business Europe of America Standard Companies Inc. Before that, he spent eight years in leadership positions at Whirlpool and played an important role in turning around the business in a difficult market environment. In his career, he served in sales and marketing assignments at household appliance companies Electrolux and Moulinex.
Chief Financial Officer
Ronald Meersschaert joined AviationGlass & Technology B.V. in March 2012. He started his career as CPA at Deloitte, an international public accounting firm. He subsequently held senior finance positions with international companies for over 15 years, including Watts Industries Europe (room heating & cooling, water quality & distribution), MoTip Dupli Group (professional car lacquers and technical products) and Doorwin (supplier of exterior doors and window frames to construction industry). As of January 1, 2006, Mr. Meersschaert is a partner of Ramphastos Participaties Coöp. U.A., a Dutch private equity investor. Ramphastos is the majority shareholder of AviationGlass & Technology B.V..
Head of Design & Engineering
Rinus Bos is a Mechanical Engineer who has over 15 years of experience in flat glass processing, especially in the range of glass that is subjected to advanced heat treatment for technical purposes.
His expertise includes the development of new ideas and possibilities. He has a way of thinking ‘out-of the-box’ and he is an absolute expert at finding solutions. His outstanding skills and expertise regarding progressive 3D engineering enable him to present his ideas visually. In this way the processes are well-engineered in each and every detail before the manufacturing process starts. The team is provided with detailed information.
Chief Operating Officer
Jacob Wiersema joined AviationGlass & Technology B.V. in March 2012.
He started his career as a certified public accountant (CPA) at KPMG, an international public accounting firm. He held several financial and general management positions mainly in production environments. Over the last seven years, he was responsible for a glass production company for which he conducted research and he became an expert in the altering of the molecular structure of glass.
The development team asked Jacob Wiersema to join in 2011 to help the development and the advancement of the unique AeroGlass products.
